The club was pleased to hold a private visit by five teenage pupils and three supervisors from the Doucecroft special needs school on Thursday 23rd June.
Royal Scott provided steam train rides on the raised track and Union Pacific did duty on the ground level track.
A range of engines and models were on display as well as a Flying Scotsman train on the Gauge 0 track which the visitors found interesting as they were all keen on trains, one of them said he had his own 00 gauge layout.
The visitors seemed to be enjoying themselves taking lots of pictures and spending nearly 2 hours on the site.
Thanks to the club members who helped set up and run the event.
